Yoga Fusion
A yoga-based flow that seamlessly integrates deep stretches with challenging physical asanas. The natural environment where these classes are held is perfect for the mental, physical and emotional experience that ensues.
H.I.I.T
High-Intensity-Interval-Training.
This class is designed to challenge your cardiovascular system, increase your endurance, coordination, and overall stamina.
Instructors:
Tara Rooney
Tara graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Subsequent to graduation, she worked in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries for six years. After welcoming her first child, she felt that a personal transformation would lead to a healthier life for both her and her child.
By becoming the best version of herself, Tara could be a role model for her child by demonstrating a life well-lived.
By discovering whole and nutritious healthy foods, by being active and moving the body, and learning techniques to honor and nurture the spirit, Tara found her path: certification as a barre and yoga instructor.
Tara currently has eight years of teaching experience. She enjoys studying the body’s movement patterns and translating her findings into optimal class content that demonstrates how to best “work” the body.
The catalyst that began Tara’s journey towards transformation over ten years ago- a simple motivation to help others- is a character trait that makes her a valuable asset at Boom Physique.
What makes Tara so unique in this industry is her ability to translate her passion to those whom she teaches- igniting their own internal fires. Tara hopes those who experience her classes are indeed able to have a similar transformative experience where passion and study of the physical lead to self-discovery and personal growth…
Stella Gonzalez
Stella is a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS) originally from Paraguay. She left her country at 16 to play tennis in the U.S. She earned a four year tennis scholarship at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and then played professional tennis for a couple of years.
Overcoming several injuries during her career she understands the importance of injury prevention in sports and in life. “If I only knew then what I know now!”. As a movement specialist, she helps individuals find balance between flexibility and strength. Stella coaches individuals through their fitness journey from beginning and throughout.
